PhotoSweep — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 29, 2026

PhotoSweep ("the app") is a photo gallery cleaning utility. Your privacy is fundamental to how the app is built.

What data we collect

None. PhotoSweep does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or photos.

• Photos and videos. The app requests access to your photo library solely to display your photos and let you delete the ones you choose. All analysis (grouping by date, detecting screenshots, finding similar shots) happens entirely on your device. Your photos never leave your phone and are never uploaded anywhere.
• Deletion. Photos are only deleted after your explicit confirmation, using the operating system's standard deletion flow.
• Usage statistics (number of deleted photos, freed space, daily limit counters) are stored locally on your device only.

Accounts

The app does not require and does not offer account registration.

Purchases

Subscriptions (PhotoSweep Pro) are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details. Payment data is handled by Apple/Google under their privacy policies.

Third-party services

The app does not embed advertising SDKs or analytics trackers that collect personal data.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
